ULICHNAYA EDA 


Ulichnaya Eda is the first festival of street food in Kyiv. It was established in 2012. For 8 years of work Ulichnaya eda had become a lovemark of Kyiv locals.

The Ulichnaya Eda team hosts about 10 festivals each summer. Some have their own style, while others are part of the Ulichnaya Eda brand. Previously, there was no consistent design system, causing confusion. The goal was to create one that unifies all the festivals under the Ulichnaya Eda brand, reflecting its character. 
The inspiration came from the “creativity” seen in painted walls by local utilities. 

New contexts and digital-first thinking has pushed the Ulichnaya eda visual identity from the grids and guides of editorial and print publishing into a dynamic feed of colour, image, type and motion. This motion is central to its new character and structure, sweeping up and swiping left as you would on screen.
